Jaehn has more than thirty years experience as an actor, director, producer, playwright, touring artist, Teaching Artist and arts administrator. She first exercised her interest in theatre in the mid-70s, as a member of her high school Drama Club, receiving the Best Thespian award as a graduating senior. Since then, Jaehn has earned a B.A. in Theatre Arts, with a Minor in Humanities, from the University of Minnesota, and an M.A. in Dramatic Literature from the University of Essex. As an actor, her favorite roles to date include Emilia in Othello, Patricia in Extremities, Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Clarity Belle in her original one-act Belle's on Wheels, and the role of Jessamyn in her one-woman performance piece Tail Tell Tale. Since 1986, Jaehn has been active as a disability awareness advocate and trainer, as well as working as a Teaching Artist in classroom and other educational settings. Jaehn has also been deeply inspired by Three Black Dogs, who taught her the value of applying Dog Logic to Life, as detailed by the inspirational writer SARK:
"... Eat well, be loved, get petted, sleep a lot, dream of a leash-free world."
